「The role of R&D in the establishment of hydrogen supply chains」

 To limit global warming and reduce atmospheric pollution to improve air quality, Air Liquide is actively involved in realizing the energy transition to hydrogen-based energy. Air Liquide is convinced that hydrogen will play an important role in reaching these two targets and has invested towards developing it as a clean energy source.
  In the past 50 years, Air Liquide has developed unique expertise enabling it to master the entire hydrogen supply chain, from production and storage to distribution and the development of applications for end users, thus contributing to the widespread use of hydrogen as a clean energy source, for mobility in particular.
  R&D plays an important role in making hydrogen cost-competitive with conventional fuels while minimizing the environmental impacts of production, in improving technologies for cost-effective distribution of hydrogen from production to end use, such as in fuel cell electric vehicles, and in addressing issues related to hydrogen safety and RCS (Regulations, Codes, and Standards).
  Air Liquide R&D employees with a wide range of profiles and expertise contribute every day to innovation. In this presentation, we will introduce the efforts of Air Liquide R&D to address the challenges in the entire hydrogen supply chain.
